Dubrovnik is a Croatian city on the Adriatic Sea coast, it is one of the most prominent tourist destinations on the Adriatic, with a seaport and the centre of Dubrovnik-Neretva county.
Dubrovnik has on of the best beaches in Croatia, it is only a few minutes from the the house and it offers restaurant facilities and sun bed loungers for comfort. Massage services are available at the beach along with water activities for those who enjoy water skiing or wind surfing.
Another beach just 20 minutes away is the St Jacobs sandy beach another great place for all the family. Boat trips take you around the islands close by to the main coast, there are a number of private beaches here to enjoy complete with their own privacy.
For sea travel across the Adriatic Sea the nearest port is about 5 minutes away and the Dubrovnik airport is about a 25 minute drive away. A car is not really needed for travelling around the city as the house is practically in the centre. With in about 2 hours you are able to visit twons and villages in the neighbouring country of Bosnia and Herzegovenia and Montenegro.
